Workers to enjoy eight days off in April
State employees will get eight days off for two public holidays in April, according to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In celebration of the death anniversary of Hung Kings, the founders of the nation, on the 10th day of the third lunar month, there will be three days off from Saturday, 13 April, to Monday, 15 April.
The break for the Reunification Day (April 30) and Labour Day (May 1) holidays will last four days from Monday, 29 April, to Thursday, 2 May.
Though Monday, 29 April is not technically a holiday, workers will get the day off to enjoy an unbroken five day break, so they will have to make up their time on 4 May.
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs asked State agencies to mobilise staff on the days off to ensure uninterrupted work.
This year, the number of days off for these holidays is a day longer than the previous year.
The total number of days off for public holidays this year is 21, including one day for New Year holiday on 1 January, nine consecutive days for Lunar New Year, eight days for the April holidays and three days for National Independence Day in September.
