6 more subsidised intra-city bus routes to be launched in July
In July, 6 more intra-city bus routes offering subsidised ticket fares will be launched in Da Nang, bringing the total number of the city’s subsidised bus routes to 12.

Here are the routes: R4A: Han River Port - Hoa Tien Commune, Hoa Vang District; R6A: the Inter-provincial Coach Station - the Marble Mountains Tourist Area; R14: 29-3 Park to the High - Tech Park; R15: the Inter-provincial Coach Station to Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District; R16: Kim Lien the Korea-Viet Nam Friendship Information Technology Junior College; and R17AL: the Han River Port - the Hoa Vang District Administration Centre.
Buses, all equipped with air conditioning, will operate daily on these routes every 10 - 20 minutes from 5.30am to 9.00pm.
The launching of the 6 new subsidised intra-city bus routes connecting the city centre to suburban areas aims to meet growing travel demands of commuters, hereby encouraging locals to use public transport services rather than their personal vehicles . The intention is to ease traffic congestion and environmental pollution.
In recent times, the city has seen a month-on-month rise in the number of bus passengers.
