The airline will conduct 4 round-trips per week on this new route on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using Airbus A320s aircraft.
The flight will depart from Da Nang at 4.30pm, and arrive in Phu Quoc at 6.25pm, whilst the return flight will take off at 7.00pm from Phu Quoc, and land in Da Nang at 10.55pm.
Previously, Jetstar Pacific Airlines had launched three new domestic routes connecting Da Nang with Vinh, Thanh Hoa and Phu Quoc.
All these new domestic air routes are connected to flight route networks of the Vietnam Airlines Group, Jetstar Goup and 5-star Emirates Airlines. The networks help to connect Viet Nam with 185 international destinations in 18 countries and territories around the world, which will facilitate international air passengers to connect with Viet Nam’s domestic air routes.
A representative from the municipal Department of Tourism highlighted the significance of the newly-launched Da Nang-Phu Quoc air route in promoting the socio-economic development of the two localities, as well as attracting even more European, American and Australian visitors from Phu Quoc to visit Da Nang in the coming time.
To mark the occasion of the launching of the Da Nang - Phu Quoc domestic air route, the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the Kien Giang Provincial Department of Tourism, and the city’s Travel Association are jointly organising a famtrip to Phu Quoc to survey the local tourism products and attractions from 24 - 26 May.
