Despite being living in difficult circumstance, he has been actively involved in helping those in need.
In late 2015, he established the ‘Tieng Goi’ charity club with 10 initial members.
Since then, the club members have organised many meaningful activities to help the poor.
In particular, they often give free portions of rice soup to patients at the Hoa Vang District Medical Station twice a month.
In addition, Mr Tri and his club members have presented gifts to children being cared at the Shelter No 3 of the city's Care Centre for AO Victims and Disadvantaged Children in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Nhon Commune at weekends, the Mid-autumn Festival and the International Children's Day.
“I feel luckier than AO victims as I were born in a healthy body. Therefore, I want to do something to assist these victims to relieve their mental and physical pain, hereby helping them overcome their difficulties and integrate into the community” Mr Tri emphasised.
In order to earn enough money to cover his daily expenditure and do charity activities, Mr Tri has worked very hard at many jobs, including as a security guard and a salesman.
Secretary of the Youth Union organisation of Hoa Tho Tay Ward Nguyen Quang Vu said Mr Tri was one of his organisation’s active and enthusiastic members.
Mr Vu added that Mr Tri has always cooperated with the YU organisation to provide free portions of rice soup to patients and their relatives at local hospitals.
He also highly appreciated the meaningful activity in facilitating young people to join forces with relevant agencies to help poor people have better lives.
