In his remarks at the event, Vice Chairman Dung said the ring road was part of the southern ring road which connects the 1A Highway with 14B Highway.
Mr Dung also highlighted the significance of the southern ring road in facilitating the travel demands of residents between southern localities, coastal areas on the eastern side of the city and the city centre. This will significantly help to encourage even more residents to move into new southern urban areas in order to reduce vehicle numbers in some inner-city areas, and fully tap the great potential of the East-West Economic Corridor.
“In general, the Hoa Phuoc - Hoa Khuong ring road will help to create a premise for the city’s socio-economic development in a comprehensive manner”, Mr Dung noted.
