Thousands of people involved in classifying and exchanging waste
Over the last weekend, thousands of peoples residing in Hai Chau District’s Thuan Phuoc Ward, and Thanh Khe District’s Hoa Khe and Thanh Khe Tay wards, in Da Nang became actively involved in festive days of waste classification and exchange.

The meaningful activity was carried out under the support of experts and managers from Japan’s Yokokama City, the Japanese International Co-operation Agency (JICA), and the US Institute for Global Engagement (IGE).
During the festive day, the people practised classifying trash into 3 types - organic, inorganic, and recycled.
Yokokama, JICA and IGE experts and managers praised the wards’ authorities for their great efforts in organising such meaningful activity, and keeping their residents engaged in the event.
