According to the latest figures released by the Traffic Police Division of the Da Nang Police Department, 5 people were killed and 13 others injured in 6 road traffic accidents on the Nam Hai Van-Tuy Loan route in Da Nang in 2018 alone. In particular, in the first 5 months of this year, 4 people were killed and 4 others were injured in 6 road traffic accidents on the same route.

Therefore, the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh trail, the Cam Lo - Tuy Loan BT Investment Co Ltd, and the Son Hai Group will take more effective measures to ensure the traffic safety on the Nam Hai Van-Tuy Loan route.

In particular, the focus will be on promptly repairing damaged streets, filling potholes, and asphalting road surface on the Km17 + 00 - Km17 + 970 section of the route.

In addition, lighting systems will be installed whilst the construction progress of an overpass at the Hoa Lien intersection on the La Son-Tuy Loan section as part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail project will be accelerated.
