Seven fishermen from Da Nang were brought the mainland safely on Monday afternoon after their boat broke down at sea last Friday.

On 31 May, fishing boat DNa 90647 TS from Da Nang, with 7 crew members onboard, suffered an engine failure whilst they were fishing about 56 nautical miles east of the Phan Rang coast in Ninh Thuan Province.

After receiving an SOS message, the Da Nang Border Guard High Command in collaboration with the Ninh Thuan Province Border Guard immediately asked fishing boats operating nearby to help the boat in distress.

On 3 June, fishing vessel DNa 90679 TS operating nearby towed the boat in distress to Quang Ngai Province’s Sa Ky Port safely.
