Over 100 million VND raised from 9th 'Cup of Compassion Coffee' programme
On Saturday morning, the 9th edition of ‘Ly Ca Phe Yeu Thuong’ (Cup of Compassion Coffee) monthly programme took place at the New Hawaii coffee shop, 15 Tran Quy Cap, Hai Chau District, Da Nang.

Jointly organised by the municipal Journalists’ Association and the Electricity Viet Nam's Central Power Corporation, the event attracted the participation of many reporters and donors across in the city.
As a result, over 100 million VND was raised from generous donors for the programme to help those in need, including reporters in difficult circumstances. The collected money has brought the current fund of the programme to 564 million VND.
Previously, a total of 235 million VND from the programme’s fund had gone to help 42 disadvantaged people in the city.
The remainder will be used to assist those in need, and to give scholarships to poor studious pupils, across the city.
