According to the latest figures released by the Da Nang Department of Police, between 25 March and 25 June, traffic police officers stopped and checked a total of around 6,700 suspicious vehicles for traffic violations, as well as reminded nearly 5,900 road users about the city's traffic laws.

In addition, notices were issued to 813 out of 838 cases of social order and security violations.

In particular, 13 drug-related cases with 19 involved offenders were detected, and administrative fines were imposed on 3 drug addicts for illegally using heroin.

Besides, traffic police officers detected and handled 121 security and order-related cases with 133 offenders, and 528 traffic violation cases.
