Plan for upgrading and managing road route link to Ba Na Hills approved
The Da Nang authorities have recently approved a plan on upgrading and managing an unused leading to the Sun World Ba Na Hills.
Under the plan, guardrails, traffic cones, convex mirrors and traffic signs will be placed on the road, whilst drainage systems and the damaged surface of the road will be repaired.
As for management work, the road will only be used for the purposes of forest management, afforestation, forest protection, fire prevention and fighting, maintenance work on power lines, and the transport of construction materials and necessities to the Sun World Ba Na Hills. Also, the road will be used as an exit road in case of unexpected incidents.
Besides, more surveillance cameras will be installed along the An Loi Bridge in order to monitor vehicles travelling on the road every day.
The Ba Na Cable Car Service JSC will be responsible for providing a list of vehicles travelling on the road every day (no more than 45 vehicles per day and night), as well as ensuring the safety of road users.
Meanwhile, employees from the city’s Bridge and Road Management Company will be assigned to duty along the road around the clock to manage vehicles which are allowed to travel on the road.
