The Da Nang authorities have given the green light for spending 4.9 billion VND from the city budget on refurbishing the care centre for people with mental health problems.

The centre is now providing care for around 350 patients in total. The number of patients here is expected to increase to 600 during the 2020 - 2025 period.

Therefore, the refurbishment work will help to improve the quality of the medical treatment and rehabilitation sevices for the centre’s patients.

Also, following recent approval by the municipal People's Committee, more than 9 billion VND from the city budget will be spent on upgrading some ward-level medical stations in Hai Chau and Ngu Hanh Son districts. They will be Hai Chau 2, Phuoc Ninh, Hoa Thuan Tay, Hoa Cuong Bac, Hoa Cuong Nam, and Hoa Quy medical stations.
