Over 8 billion VND for upgrading intersection of Ton Duc Thang and Nam Tran streets
The Da Nang People's Committee has recently approved the granting of over 8 billion VND from the city budget to upgrade the intersection of Ton Duc Thang and Nam Tran streets to ease the prolonged traffic congestion during rush hours.

Under the project, focus will be on taking back some sections of the pavements along Ton Duc Thang and Nam Tran streets for the upgrade, narrowing the median strip between directions to widen the road surface, and creating dedicated lanes for right-turns by vehicles.
Besides, 3-phase traffic lights to control the traffic flows, new lighting systems, reflective warning and painted lines have been created in accordance with the national technical regulations.
Lane control LED lights and traffic signal countdown timer will also be installed at the intersection.
