Central Vietnamese localities from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai, including Da Nang, are forecasted to brace for moderate to heavy downpours, accompanied with possible thunderstorms and gale-force winds, starting from tomorrow (29 October), according to the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

The central region is seeing the cool and soaking weather due to the impacts of the ongoing intensifying cold front pushing a low pressure towards the southern part of the country.

Under the influence of the wet weather, winds levels 2-3 are expected to appear in the mainland of the central localities, whilst winds levels 3-4 and rough seas are likely to be seen off their coast.

North-easterly winds levels 6-7, with a gust of level 8, and very rough sea is reported off the northern part of the East Sea, including the Hoang Sa waters.

Cloudy weather and showers, companied by thunderstorms, are possible in Da Nang in the coming days.

The temperatures are expected to hover at between 22 to 30 degrees Celsius, and the average humidity of 88%.
