Daily capacity of Cau Do water plant to increase by 60,000m3
Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, the Da Nang Water Supply JSC (Dawaco) will start work on a new water supply system to raise the daily capacity of the Cau Do (Red Bridge) water plant by 60,000m3 to 290,000m3.
The intention is to ensure the sufficient water supply for the daily lives, and the agricultural and industrial production activities of local citizens in the coming time.
The 136.23 billion VND project will cover a total area of 5,460m2 within the precinct of the Cau Do water plant located in Hoa Tho Tay Ward, Cam Le District.
The construction duration is scheduled to run from this ongoing quarter of this year until the 4th quarter of next year.
Dawaco is responsible for carrying out the procedures regarding planning, construction, land use, environment and finance in accordance with the national laws during the project’s progress.
Also, the company will carry out the water supply planning for the city by 2030, with a vision towards 2050, as per request by the municipal administration in order to identify water demand-supply gaps well before they occur and identify future supply options.
