Ensuring safety in Tho Quang fishing wharf and on Son Tra Peninsula
In recently, the Da Nang authorities have asked relevant agencies to ensure traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, for ships docking at the Tho Quang Fishing Wharf and operating near the Son Tra Peninsula.
In details, the municipal Police Department in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Border Guard High Command, the Department of Transport and other functional bodies have inspected the operation of gas and oil tankers at the Tho Quang fishing wharf.
Special attention has been paid to checking safety conditions for fire prevention and fighting, as well as not to granting operation certificates for ships which do not ensure fire prevention and fighting safety.
Meanwhile, the operation of unsafe tourist boats near the Son Tra Peninsula has been banned. In addition, functional bodies have advised visitors not to use illegal sightseeing boat tours at the Bai Nam and Bai Bac tourist sites on the peninsula.
The municipal Department of Tourism, and the Department of Culture and Sport have increased their checks on tourism products which can have harmful effects on tourists’ lives and even their health.
