The first flight departing from Tokyo, operated by Viet Nam’s private budget carrier Vietjet Air, landed at the Da Nang International Airport this morning. 

The opening of the Tokyo -Da Nang air service helps to facilitate the travel by locals and visitors between the 2 localities.

Under the new air service’s schedules, flights depart from the Da Nang International Airport at 6:10pm and from the Tokyo International Airport, commonly known as Haneda Airport, at 2:30am (all in local time).

The flight duration is approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes per leg for the new air service.

In addition to the Tokyo - Da Nang service, Vietjet Air now operates 4 other routes connecting Viet Nam with Japan, namely flights from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo (Narita) and Osaka (Kansai).
