Heavy rain lingers into Saturday in the city
Temperatures are now cooling down, whilst rain is still battering most parts of Da Nang and elsewhere in the mid-central region from now until Saturday, 19 October, according to the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting
The cool, soaking weather occurs in the region in the face of the intensifying cold air, accompanied by north-easterly winds, moving towards the southern part of the country.
In the days to come, the mid-central regional localities are forecasted to brace for moderate to heavy downpours, accompanied with possible thunderstorms and gale-force winds. A total rainfall accumulation of 150 - 300mm is predicted to be recorded in these localities, with even over 400mm in some of their parts.
In particular, the total amount of rain that pours down onto Da Nang is much likely to hover at between from 100 to 250mm, and even over 300mm in some of its parts.
The temperatures are expected to hover at between 23 to 30 degrees Celsius across the city, and the average humidity is much likely to stand at 97%.
