Nearly 9 billion VND for floral displays and lighting decorations at upcoming Tet
Following recent approval by the Da Nang administration, a total of nearly 9 billion VND from the city budget will be spent on floral displays and lighting decorations for the upcoming Tet Festival 2020.
In detail, 6 billion VND will go to the placement of floral displays in front of the Administration Centre, along the western pavements opposite the buildings at 42- 44 and 72 Bach Dang, and at 12 Tran Phu, the Pham Van Dong coastal park, a statue of Mother Au Co, a park on the corner of Hung Vuong and Nguyen Thai Hoc streets, the Nguyen Huu Tho - Duy Tan - Le Dinh Ly and Nguyen Van Linh - Hoang Dieu intersections and other pubic areas.
With a regard to the creation of lighting decorations, 2.9 billion VND will be poured into the maintenance work on a system of decorative lighting pillars along Nguyen Van Thoai, Vo Nguyen Giap, Pham Van Dong and the western approach road to the Hoa Xuan Bridge, and at the Nguyen Huu Tho - Duy Tan, Nguyen Huu Tho - Xo Viet Nghe Tinh and Nguyen Van Linh - Hoang Dieu intersections, plus the upgrade of other existing public lighting systems.
Floral displays and lighting decorations aim to create beautiful and eye-catching sightseeing areas for both local residents and visitors whilst enjoying the joyful and boisterous atmosphere during the Tet Festival which will begin on 25 January 2020.
