Over 42 billion VND for restoring 9 cultural and historical relic sites

The Da Nang People’s Committee has given the green light to the spending of a total of 42 billion VND from the city budget on upgrading and restoring 9 downgrading cultural and historical relic sites, including village communal houses and temples across the city.

The relic sites are the Nai Hien Dong village communal house in Son Tra District’s Nai Hien Dong Ward, the Dinh Family worship House in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phuoc Commune, the worship house of Thanh Khe District’s fisheries sector in the namesake district’s Thanh Khe Dong Ward, the Qua Giang Family worship house in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phuoc Commune, the Phuoc Hung village communal house in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Nhon Commune, the ‘Cay sung’ (Ficus racemosa) temple in  Cam Le District’s Hoa Tho Dong Ward, the Phuoc Truong village communal house in Son Tra District’s Phuoc My Ward, the Cam Toai village communal house vestige in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phong Commune, the worship house dedicated to the ancestors of the Nai Hien village in Hai Chau District’s Binh Hien Ward.

The upgrade and restoration of the above-mentioned relic sites is scheduled to be implemented during the 2019 – 2021 period.

The municipal Department of Culture and Sports will be charge of developing and managing the upgrade work.
