Over 50 million VND donated to poor patients
Representatives from the Da Nang Journalists' Association, the Da Nang Newspapers, along with the municipal Department of Information and Communications, and the Executive Board of the 'Cup of Compassion Coffee' programme have presented gifts, worth 5 million VND each, to 2 patients in need.

The patients were Mrs Vo Thi Be Loan from Quang Nam Province’s Que Son District who has been suffering from acute myocarditis, and Le Thi Thu Thao, a Year 9 pupil at the Luong The Vinh Junior High School, who has been suffering from end-stage chronic renal failure. Both of them are receiving medical treatment at the Intensive Care and Anti-Poisoning Ward of the Da Nang General Hospital.
In addition, 5 million VND have been given to parents of 3-year-old Le Dac Nhan from Thanh Khe District’s Xuan Ha Ward. The little boy is diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis.
Also on the occasion, DA NANG Newspaper Acting Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Duc Nam, handed cash donations of 5.1 million VND raised from the newspaper’s readers to parents of Nhan.
Since October, a total of 45 million VND from the 'Cup of Compassion Coffee' programme’s fund has gone to help 8 disadvantaged people.
