On Monday, police officers in Hai Chau District’s Binh Hien Ward, Da Nang, returned a dropped mobile phone to its owner, 33-year-old Miranda Jose Alberto from the USA.

At around 8.00am on Sunday, Captain Truong Duc Nhon found a light blue Samsung J7 cell phone whilst conducting his patrol near the Rong (Dragon) Bridge. He immediately handed over the property to police officers in Binh Hien Ward.

After carrying out their investigations, the ward police officers successfully found the owner of the dropped property - Mr Alberto.

Mr Alberto said that he dropped the above-mentioned phone as going for a stroll nearby the Rong Bridge. He expressed his appreciation for the kindness of Mr Nhon, and local police officers as a whole.
