Train crew members return lost property to owner
On Saturday, crew members of SE3 train returned a dropped bag to its owner, a Hai Duong Province native, at the Da Nang railway station.
Earlier, at around 9.10am on Friday, crew members of SE3 train on the Thong Nhat (North-South) route found a handbag left on the Seat No 23 as they were cleaning up the carriage No 2.
At that time, the train was stopping at the Hue Railway Station for picking up and dropping off rail passengers.
The handbag contained 34 million VND, 1,184 USD, 10,000 Japanese yen and 154,000 South Korean won, all in cash. Also, there were a white stone bracelet and some important personal papers with the name of Tran Thi Bich Van, 37, from Hai Duong Province.
Soon after, the train crew members reported the case to the Management Board of the train. On the following day, they handed over the collected items, to the owner at the Da Nang Railway Station.
