Newly-appointed Editor-in-Chief of the DA NANG Newspaper Nguyen Duc Nam has handed cash donations of 27.5 million VND raised from the newspaper’s readers to the family of Nguyen Thi Thuan from My Son Village, Tam Anh Commune, Nui Thanh District, Quang Nam Province.

Despite great efforts of doctors and nurses from the Da Nang General Hospital and the city’s Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital, the young mum and her newborn son have died.

Besides, representatives from the Executive Board of the ‘Ly Ca Phe Yeu Thuong’ (Cup of Compassion Coffee) monthly programme have donated 5 million VND from the fund of the programme to the family of the ill-fated young mother.
