Kind-hearted woman brings warmth to poor children
Since early winter, Mrs Le Dung from Da Nang’s Son Tra District has been very busy calling for donations of winter clothes from her friends and philanthropists citywide for poor children in moutainous areas.

The kind-hearted woman unveiled that this year’s charity project would bring warm clothes to the Trung Hung Day Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Pupils in Binh Dinh Province’s An Lao District on 20 November. Dung said that her charity project aims to bring warmth to these ethnic minority pupils, and help them feel be warmer in the winter during their stay away from home.
Apart from giving warm clothes, worth between 70,000 VND and 90,000 VND each, to 298 school pupils, donators will cook nutritious meals for them. The total cost for this charity project is estimated at around 30 million VND.
Mrs Dung becomes actively involving in bringing warm clothes and blankets to boarding-school and poor pupils in the central localities and provinces of Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Dak Lak and Phu Yen to help them keep warm in winter despite her busy work at the end of the year.
