The Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting said New Year's Eve will be cooler with a few showers possible.

Forecasters are predicting cloudy sky with mist and spells of drizzly rain in Da Nang and elsewhere along the central coast in the next 3 days due to the effects of enhanced cold air combined with high turbulence in the easterly wind condition.

The mainland of these mid-central regional localities, including Da Nang, will experience scattered showers and north-northwestern winds at level 3, whilst northeastern winds levels 6-7, with a gust of level 8, and heavy rough seas, are likely to be seen off the coast of these localities.
