The Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting said a cold snap is hitting Da Nang and other parts of the mid-central region from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai provinces.

Forecasters are predicting cloudy sky with mist and spells of drizzly rain, and dry weather in Da Nang in the coming days.

Across Da Nang, cloudy skies are expected with temperatures hovering around 17 - 24 degree Celsius.

The Quang Binh Province-Quang Ngai coast, including Da Nang, have been warned of northeast winds levels 5 - 6, with a gust of levels 6 - 7, and rough seas with 2 - 4 meter high waves as the coming days look set for a battering.
