On Thursday, a group of businesspeople from Japan’s Yokohama City visited Da Nang to seek investment opportunities in environment.

The Japanese guests were hosted by leaders of the municipal Department of Natural Resource and the Environment.

During the reception for Japanese guests, the hosts briefed their guests on the city’s remarkable achievements in the implementation of a project on building Da Nang into an environmentally-friendly city over the past decade, and deployment results of Yokohama-funded pilot project on waste classification at source.

Also at the meeting, Japanese guests shared their experience with the hosts in carrying out the environmental management action plan in Yokohama.

In addition, the guests recommended some solutions to help the city implement the ‘Building Da Nang into an environmentally-friendly city’ project over the 2020-2030 period, with a vision towards 2045, in a more effective manner.
