During the 2013 - 2019 period, more than 16 billion VND in total has been raised from both domestic and foreign generous donors for a charity kitchen at the Da Nang Cancer Hospital.

The donated money has been used to offer over 3 million free portions of soup for patients there, and purchase kitchen appliances for the charity kitchen.

The figures were released by the municipal Association for Supporting Poor and Disadvantaged Women and Children at a ceremony to honour philanthropists for their generous donations to the hospital’s charity kitchen over the past 6 years.

To mark the occasion, the Association presented Certificates of Merit to 7 outstanding individuals and groups for their generous donations.
