Traffic re-arrangement at western end of Rong Bridge to be completed before Tet

The re-arrangent of the traffic network at the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Da Nang started on Wednesday. The work is expected to be completed on 20 January 2020.

In particular, a section of Nguyen Van Linh between its intersections with Le Dinh Duong and Bach Dang streets will have road surface widened, whilst median strips will be extended to the roundabout, and they are also narrowed from 3m in width to only 1m.

A part of pavements on 2 September Street near the Museum of Cham Sculpture will be widen road surfaces.

A section of Trung Nu Vuong between its intersections with Nguyen Van Linh and a road behind the Museum of Cham Sculpture will be switched to one-way traffic.

Besides, the focus will be on widening a section of Tran Phu between its intersections with Hoang Van Thu and Le Dinh Duong, and narrowing the pavements along the section.

A dedicated area will be earmarked in front of stop line on 2 September Street in order for 2-wheeled vehicles to wait at red lights, and have priority to go first when the light changes to green.
