12 suspected cases test negative for new coronavirus

On Tuesday morning, Dr Nguyen Tien Hong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Health, said 12 patients in Da Nang, who were suspected of having the coronavirus, have tested negative for the condition. The patients were 7 Chinese, 4 Vietnamese and 1 Czech nationals.

Dr Nguyen Thanh Trung, Deputy Director of the Da Nang General Hospital, remarked that the health condition of the patients has stabilised. He, however, added the patients would continue to receive medical treatment until they don't have flu symptoms longer.

To date, 41 suspected cases with fever have been recorded in the city. The city's healthcare sector has put 15 out of 41 people with high fever in quarantine for coronavirus infection tests.

As a result, all of them have tested negative for new strain of coronavirus.
