Earlier on 29 January, the centre received a report about two lost foreigners from local residents. The foreigners were Mr Budreckis from Latvian, and Mr Sidney Alan from the USA. At that time, both of them couldnot remember the names and addresses of the hotels which they are staying in.

The centre’s Deputy Director Huynh Thi Huong Lan said apart from their passports, the foreigners were without money, their personal papers or something else.

She added, on the following morning, the two foreigners could show the ways to their accommodation establishments on a map. Then, they were provided with medical examinations, and helped to return to their hotels.

Under the active assistance from the centre’s staff, Mr Budreckis rode a motorbike back to his rent hotel room in Hoi An by himself. Meanwhile, Mr Sidney Alan was taken to the original place of temporary residence in Ngu Hanh Son District.
