Following recent approval by the Da Nang People's Committee, a contest has been launched to design architectural plans for upgrading the existing Con Market.

The contest is open to domestic and foreign individuals and organisations that are architectural design consultants or construction planners.

From 30 December 2019 to 10 January 2020, design consultants register for their participation in the contest. Entrants will send their entries to the contest's organisers between 10 and 13 March 2020.

From 14 March - 15 April, the contest's judges will choose the best entries, and announce the winners.

The organisation cost of the design contest is expected to be more than 1.2 billion VND. The first prize winner will receive 400 million VND, whilst a second prize of 100 million VND, a third prize of 50 million VND, and the community-selected prize of 30 million VND will also be given out to outstanding entrants.
