Mr Nguyen Dang Huy, Director of the Waste Management Service based in Da Nang’s Lien Chieu District, said on Tuesday that he had returned 29 dropped passports to their owners.

Earlier on Monday, a personal Facebook account D.N wrote on Facebook page of the city’s Urban Management Division: Convenient-Green-Clean-Beautiful: “My friend has just lost 29 Vietnamese passports. We really hope to find the lost passports soonest in order to help our customers handle procedures for going abroad. My friend promised to give cash rewards to those who have found the lost items. Thank you very much”.

Also, he also attached a photo of a leaflet describing the lost items in his post.

Around 11.00pm on the same day, some staff members of the Waste Management Service found a plastic bag which was similar to the description written on the leaflet. The bag contained 29 Vietnamese passports and 23 caps.

They then immediately reported the case to their leaders in order to return the lost items to their owners in the night of Monday.
