Space for floral displays and lighting decorations expanded
The Da Nang authorities have given a green light to spend over 7 billion VND from the city budget for floral displays and lighting decorations for the upcoming Tet Festival 2020.
This year, floral displays and lighting decorations will be made in inner-city streets and some tourist-packed areas in Son Tra District |
In details, over 2 billion VND will go to the installation of lighting decorations. Decorative lights will be installed at the Dien Hai Citadel, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, at the intersections of Nguyen Huu Tho and Duy Tan, and Nguyen Huu Tho and Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, and along such major streets as Tran Phu, Nguyen Van Linh, Hoang Dieu, and Hung Vuong.
This year, lighting decorations will be expanded into Nguyen Van Thoai, Phan Van Dong, Vo Van Kiet, Le Duc Tho, Truong Sa, and Ho Xuan Huong streets, plus the Hoa Xuan Bridge.
LED lighting systems will be installed at welcome gates along Nguyen Van Linh, Vo Nguyen Giap, and 2 September streets.
Meanwhile, the remaining about 5 billion VND will be spent on the placement of floral displays on an approach road to the Dien Hai Citadel, in front of the Administrative Centre, along the western pavements opposite the buildings at 42- 44 and 72 Bach Dang, and along the eastern pavements of Bach Dang.
In addition, the major traffic intersections of Nguyen Van Linh and Hoang Dieu, and Nguyen Huu Tho and Duy Tan, a public park on Hung Vuong Street, and along Pham Van Dong street will be decorated with colourful flower towers and pots.
