Since the morning of 24 February, 58 Vietnamese nationals have been kept in quarantine at the Dong Nghe Training Centre in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Khuong Commune after arriving in Da Nang from Daegu City, the centre of South Korea's ballooning coronavirus outbreak.
The centre is temporarily used to receive people from epidemic-infected areas.
During their stay at the centre, these Vietnamese citizens have their body temperatures measured 2 - 3 times per day. Also, they are asked to gargle with salt water, and they are advised to keep the hands, foot and face clean to prevent the spread of virus infections.
If any passengers develop or start to show symptoms of fever, they will be immediately taken to the Hospital for Lung Diseases for treatment.
