The city sets up two new temporary coronavirus quarantine sites

The Da Nang authorities have turned the Centre for Training National Defense and Security Knowledge under the management of the city-based Military High Command, and a hall of residence for students, both in Lien Chieu District, into temporary coronavirus quarantine sites for Vietnamese citizens returning from epidemic-infected areas.

The two new sites are able to accommodate for about 1,000 isolated people in total.

To date, the ciy has set up a total of 3 temporary coronavirus quarantine sites which together provide accommodation for over 1,300 isolated people.

As of 28 February, 20 suspected cases had been reported in Da Nang, and there are currently no confirmed cases of the virus in the city.
