Journalists' Association receives over 100 million VND in donations to help fight coronavirus pandemic
On Tuesday, the Da Nang Journalists’ Association received 50 million VND in donations from the Community Disaster Relief Fund to support efforts of frontline healthcare workers in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Also, the Association got 20 million VND in financial aid from employees of the Da Nang Sanova Hotel, located at 68 Phan Chau Trinh Street, and more than 30 million VND from other generous donors across the city.
After over one month of launching fundraising appeal, the Association raised more than 264 million VND from generous organisations, individuals, businesses and journalists inside and outside the city.
On 18 March, representatives from the Executive Board of the 'Cup of Compassion Coffee' programme and the municipal Journalists' Association visited 6 medical facilities to donate over 160 million VND to their staff. These medical facilities were the Da Nang General Hospital, the Hospital for Lung Diseases, the Centre for Disease Control, the Emergency Centre 115, the Dong Nghe Training Centre, and the Police Hospital No 199.
