The Da Nang Steering Committee for Coronavirus Infection Prevention and Control has announced that the Sam Grand Hotel at 7 Pham Van Dong Street in Son Tra District has been used as a temporary coronavirus isolation site for foreigners.

Arrivals from coronavirus-hit countries or those in close contact with infected patients in Viet Nam will be placed into quarantine for 14 days at this site.

During their 14-day quarantine in this site, they are required to have their temperature taken twice a day, and they will be served with healthy meals.

A spokesperson for the municipal Department Health highlighted the use of the Sam Grand Hotel as a temporary isolation site for foreigners amid the growing concerns over coronavirus spread, and to make it easier for foreigners during their quarantine period.

Till date, more than 1,130 returnees in total from epidemic-hit countries have been stayed in isolation at the city-based military bases.
