Three more recovered Covid-19 patients test positive again

Three more Covid-19 patients who had previously been given the all-clear tested positive again, bringing the number of such cases to eight, it was reported on April 27.

The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said Patient 74 from northern Phu Tho province was discharged from hospital on April 10 after testing negative twice. However, after 14 days of quarantining at home, his results turned positive on April 25. The patient has been readmitted to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

Meanwhile, the Health Department of Ho Chi Minh City reported Patients 207 and 224 again tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 five days after they were discharged from the city-based Cu Chi Hospital for Acute Respiratory Disease on April 18 and 20.

The two, both Brazilian, are again hospitalized at the Cu Chi hospital.

As of 6:00 am on April 27 there was no new infection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Viet Nam, marking the 11th day in a row the country has seen no new Covid-19 cases through community infection, according to the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

The number of Covid-19 cases in the country remained at 270, with 225 having recovered and no death. Among the recoveries, eight have tested positive again.
