A 31 year-old man returning from Russia becomes 327th Covid-19 patient in Viet Nam

A 31 year-old man returning from Russia on a flight on May 13 tested positive for coronavirus on May 26, becoming the 327th Covid-19 patient in Viet Nam, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control announced on Tuesday evening.

All passengers on flight with Viet Nam's latest coronavirus patient were quarantined on arrival, posing no threat of spreading in the community.

Viet Nam has claimed no community cases for 40 days.

Overall, 272 patients, or 84 percent of the total confirmed cases in Viet Nam, have recovered from the virus.

Among the 55 patients still under treatment, six have tested negative for the virus once, and five others have tested negative for at least two times.

A total of 14,739 people are being quarantined in hospital, designated facilities or their homes and accommodations across the country.
