More than 340 Vietnamese nationals have landed in Da Nang from Taiwan (China).

The repatriation flight carrying Vietnamese passengers from Taiwan touched down at Da Nang International Airport on Friday. 

The plane was arranged by the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines under the support of Vietnamese and Taiwanese agencies, the Viet Nam Economic-Cultural Office in Taipei.

Passengers included children and young people (under 18s), seniors, sick people, pregnant women, travellers, university and college students finishing their studies abroad, and guest workers who have their visas expired and labour contracts terminated.

All passengers travelling on the flight had their health checked and were required to complete their health declaration, and they were put into quarantined in designated areas for 2 weeks on arrival.      

Also, the aircraft, the entire passenger cabin, cockpit and cargo storage area were disinfected after landing.
