Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, traffic signs will be installed along 11 more streets in the districts of Hai Chau, Cam Le, Lien Chieu, Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son which indicate that 4-wheeled vehicles will be only allowed to park along them either on odd dates or even dates. This will bring the total number of such streets to 66.

The streets will be Y Lan Nguyen Phi and Han Thuyen in Hai Chau District; Nguyen Nhan and a section of Nguyen Cong Hoan between its intersections with Ton Duc Thang and a 5m-wide concrete road in Cam Le District; Nguyen Huy Tuong and a section of To Hieu between its intersections with Ton Duc Thang and Hoang Thi Loan in Lien Chieu District; Lam Hoang, Dang Vu Hy and a section of Chinh Huu between its intersections with Duong Dinh Nghe and Vo Van Kiet in Son Tra District; and Phan Tu and Do Ba in Ngu Hanh Son District.

The installation of the signs will be completed by 30 June.

Starting from 1 until 15 July, relevant agencies will promote the publicity, and ask vehicle drivers to strictly comply with the new parking rules.

Administrative fines will be officially imposed on violators from 16 July.
