On Tuesday, representatives from the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations and the city branch of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association handed 5,000 reusable antibacterial face masks to staff of the Laos Consul General in Da Nang. These face masks were donated by the city-based Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Company to the Vientiane branch of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association to support the Laotian capital in the fight against Covid-19.

Addressing the handover ceremony in Da Nang on Tuesday, Lao Consul General Viengxay Phommachanh thanked the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Company, and the Da Nang people, for their donation and support to the Laotian capital.

The Laotian diplomat promised that these face masks would be sent to the Vientiane branch of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association as soon as possible.
