Despite China’s unilateral decision on fishing ban in the East Sea from 1 May to 16 August, Da Nang’s fishermen are showing their strong determination to carry on with their fishing in the Hoang Sa waters. Many fishing boats from Da Nang are still heading out to the rich Hoang Sa fishing grounds to conduct fishing activities in order to earn their living as well as to protect Viet Nam’s sovereignty over its sea and islands.
