Viet Nam claims no community cases for 45 days
Viet Nam reported no new confirmed cases overnight and the country has remained unchanged in its case numbers at 328 as of 6am on Sunday, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has announced.

There has been no community transmission of the disease in the country for 45 days.
In total, 188 of those confirmed cases were classed as "imported" which were quarantined after arrival in Viet Nam.
Overall, 279 patients, or 85 percent of the total confirmed cases in Viet Nam, have recovered from the disease, and there have been no coronavirus deaths in Viet Nam till date.
The remaining 49 are receiving treatment at health facilities nationwide, of whom, nine have tested negative for the virus once, and 17 negative at least twice.
Currently, 7,870 people nationwide who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from pandemic-hit areas are under health monitoring, of whom 69 were quarantined at hospitals, 6,870 at other concentrated facilities and 931 at home and place of residence.
