Viet Nam enters twentieth straight day with no cases of community transmission
Viet Nam reported no cases of community transmitted Covid-19 for 20th straight day, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control announced on Wednesday morning.

The number of confirmed cases in the country remains at 271, of whom 131 were imported cases who were quarantined upon arrival, the committee said.
A total of 232 patients have recovered or been discharged from hospital till date while the remainder are being treated at centrally-run and provincial medical facilities. Most of them are in stable conditions.
As many as 34,097 are under quarantine or health monitoring, of whom 245 stay at concentrated facilities in hospitals, 10,293 at other quarantine facilities and 23,559 at home and accommodations.
Among the active patients, 12 had tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 that causes the acute respiratory disease once as of May 6 morning, and nine negative twice or more.
The HCM City’s Health Department reported on May 5 that a recovered Covid-19 patient in the city tested positive again, marking the tenth relapse case in the locality.
The latest relapse case is Patient 204 who was declared to have recovered on April 10 after testing negative three times.
However, his test result turned positive 25 days after hospital discharge. He is being treated at the Cu Chi hospital for Covid-19 in the city.
HCM City has confirmed 10 relapse cases so far./.
