The Da Nang Summer Volunteer Campaign 2020 is slated to run in July and August in the city.

Themed ‘The Da Nang Youth are Creative and Volunteer for the Community’, this year’s campaign is expected to attract about 15,000 volunteers across the city.

Under the campaign, these volunteers will be involved in building 1,000m of concrete roads in Hoa Vang Rural District, providing free medical check-ups and medicines for 2,000 poor people, and creating 10 public playgrounds for children.

Also, they will help restore the Gieng Bong relic site in Hai Chau District’s Binh Hien Ward, provide training courses on startups for 1,000 young people, and raise public awareness about preserving and promoting the sustainable development of the Son Tra Peninsula.
