DA NANG Newspaper's reporter wins city-level writing competition
Winners of the ‘Good People, Good Deeds’ writing competition, hosted by the Da Nang Committee for Emulation and Reward, were announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday afternoon. Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh attended the event.

The competition has opened for entries from across Da Nang, including journalists, government officials and employees, plus local people. It encouraged citywide entrants to write stories of kind acts by local residents.
After 3 months of launching the contest, the organisers received a sum of 419 entries. Included were 56 video clips, audio reports and 61 writing articles from journalists working for news agencies based in Da Nang, and 302 articles from government officials and employees and local people.
In the end, 4 first, 4 second, 4 third and 12 commendation prizes were given for best entrants.
Female reporter Au Thi Quynh Trang from DA NANG Newspaper was among the first-prize winners with ‘De Su Song Duoc Tiep Noi’ (For Life to be Continued) article.
In addition, 5 units were honoured with Certificates of Merit from the municipal People’s Committee for their outstanding achievements in the competition. They were DA NANG Newspaper, Cong An Newspaper, Da Nang Radio and Television station, and the People’s Committees of Thanh Khe and Hai Chau districts.
