A company based in Lien Chieu District, Da Nang, has been badly damaged after a fire broke out.

The blaze was brought under control.

The blaze started at the Mien Nam (South) motorized equipment JSC on Hoang Van Thai Street on Friday afternoon.

Fire crews, plus 2 fire engines, from the Fire Fighting and Prevention Division in Lien Chieu District rushed to the scene several minutes after being alerted about the incident.

The company was located deep in a residential area, and dense smoke engulfed the building, all posing difficulties in the fire-fighting operations. Due to the severity of the blaze, more firefighters and fire trucks were sent to the scene. Also, some of the municipal Green Trees-Park Company-owned water tanker trucks were sent to the site to extinguish the flames.

After three hours of firefighting, the blaze was brought under control. Many of the company's properties were destroyed. Luckily, there were no injuries in the incident. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
